DME consists of bracing and home health care products that help by relieving pain, improving function, promoting healing, preventing further injury and assisting with everyday tasks.

Why Should I Get It?
DME is a great adjunct to most treatment plans. It improves your quality of life by allowing you to perform activities with more confidence and less pain. You have complete control over when to use your products and they come with little to no side effects.
When Do I Use It?
Most DME is prescribed to be used as needed. Sometimes, when trying to facilitate healing, DME will need to be used on a specific schedule. Your physician and orthotic fitter will go over when and how often to use your DME.
Does Insurance Cover It?
Yes, most insurance plans will cover many DME products. At MedEdge, we verify benefits beforehand to make you aware of any unforeseen out of pocket costs.
How Can I Get It?
DME needs to be prescribed by a physician in order to be covered by insurance. Any physician can prescribe DME.

We can also meet you at your physical therapy or doctor's office.
How Long Does It Take?
In many cases you will be contacted within 24 hours. Some insurances require pre-authorization, which could take longer. You are welcome to contact us for the status of your order.
